With a huge range of fiction and non-fiction titles, coffee table books, erotica, DVDs, cards and the latest magazines from around the world, as well as tickets to all the main queer events, Hares & Hyenas is the one-stop shop for all your queer reading and entertainment needs.

Links to many of these will be added to the homepage over time. Hares & Hyenas is now a fully licensed venue, making it the place to be for Friday night drinks and the perfect place for your next function. Spoken word nights start on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month in July; our new queer book club on the first Sunday of the month (next meeting 1 July); Stitch and Bitch (queer knitting coffee klatsch) at 3pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month; Butch Femme Trans Melbourne at 3pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month; and a range of other regular gatherings.
