the conference at Hammond College, on the life and work of brilliant philosopher Erik Weber, was attracting interested scholars from all over the country. Professor Claire Sinclair was definately not one of them. Though the conference was organised by her partner, Emma Harrington, economist Claire had planned to stay well clear of any gathering of philosophers. This would have been easier had she not tripped over Weber's body lying on the sidewalk. It turns out that despite their fascination with his ideas, plenty of Weber's collegues had reason to hate him! But which one had the opportunity to kill him?
